1. Is there a way, and I'm thinking ideally for lessons here, that I could run two basses through the same amp? Would it involve some kind of A/B/Y box or is there an even easier way? Cheers in advance!
2.
Nice to see it is a BIN...
Oh very good!

5. I had been tinkering around with my Westbury Track 2 (first ever bass given to me by my mum), shielding the cavity, WD40'ing the pots, replacing the knackered old nut and restringing it with flats. Used it for a gig last night for the first time in a couple of years and it felt just like coming home, I was in love with playing all over again. I was considering starting a thread just to announce this to the world but this one'll do - I'll never sell it. Fact
6. There are some nice looking new ones fairly cheap on ioffer.com right now...
7. +1 to the remarks about changing the strings. Night & day!!
8. I have a set of black beauties that I've been gigging solidly for 9 months now. Still sound as fresh as new. Best strings I've ever used!
9.
I doubt a bandsaw would go through it, the neck's at least 48 miles thick!
Haha yeah it is (and I quite dig it!), but the headstock looks like it's not much harder than balsa wood...
10. You'd have to cut off half the logo but it's nothing a bandsaw couldn't handle I'd wager!
11. Got mine today. Needs a half turn of the truss rod, some new strings and pots (and possibly a black pickguard) and she'll be ready for the marketplace by Monday
12. Will get some pics up soon. Included is the carry case, the padded 'stands', a book and CD and the tuning hammer pictured. These are good quality tablas that I'm willing to take a hit on to free up some space. So £50 collected from chatham, Kent anyone? Sensible offers will be considered... 13.
Ah. PCB mounted ones are a bit fiddlier to source and fit... You'd better double the guesstimates about pricing. Is there not a MarkBass dealer down your way that you could hand it over to?
I doubt it. However they were really nice in replacing the handle so they might send over a free replacement for that also... Worth a try perhaps.
14. I started on Nirvana - Come As You Are Good one for getting those fingers flexing!
15. Saw this thread first and had no idea what was going on. Now I know. I'll be a member of the Sue Ryder Bass owner's club come next week also
16. It doesn't look like a regular jack socket otherwise I'd have sorted it myself... It's well and truly part of the circuitboard :/
17. I went white. Blue is just, like, soooo last thread page.
