The lower string tension provided by the short scale has several benefits - easy playabilty, sweet upper register tones and fat blooming low end, not to mention the added nuance that comes naturally when playing this type of bass. Unlike most short scale basses available, The Mouse 30 bass is hand crafted to the highest professional quality. And though it shares the same high quality materials as the MB-2 bass, you'll find the Mouse 30 definitely has a personality all its own. 9. Hi all Can anyone explain if there is any difference regarding connecting 2 cabs to one amp? I'm using a Gene Benz Streamliner 900 to connect to two Mark Bass cabs ( 1x15 and a 2x10) both 8 ohm at 400 watts each. Basically I need to know…. 1. if i should daisy chain the cabs . i.e take one output from the Streamliner to the 2 x10 and then from the back of the 2 x 10 to the 1 x15 or 2. Take two separate outs from the amp to each speaker ( The Streamline has 2 speakon outs) Hope all of the above makes sense. Please don't be afraid of calling me a Twazock ( or worse) if it doesn't make any difference. Cheers The PB
  10. many thanks for your help..... i 've recently bought a Berg 2x12 4 ohm cab (awesome) and am thinning down my other gear. i have an offer/trade for a berg 2x10 and am tempted to get this as it's a bit lighter and easier to get around. my thoughts were really about whether or not they could combine with the streamliner...... i don't really need to combine them as the berg 2x12 is more than loud enough and has a fantastic sound. am i right in thinking though that two 8 ohm cabs would not produce a problem for the gb streamliner? many thanks pb
  11. Hi all Please forgive me for probably sounding like a right numpty but can i use an 8 ohm Bergantino (2x10 cab) and a 4 ohm Bergantino (2x12) cab simultaneously using a a GENZ BENZ Streamliner 900 amp. Also even if possible is this wise or are there any potential problems/pitfalls? Always thought OHM was where the Deer and the Antelope grazed!!! Seriously be very grateful for your thoughts Best wishes PB
