1. Hey guys, Looks like i'm buying a Markbass combo this weekend and i now need to very reluctantly sell this head to help pay for the damage to my bank account. Bought this off Iscolman last year and it has been nothing but incredible, amazing sound, insanely powerful, played through my 4x10 and 2x10 the volume was no further than 1.5 in practice or for gigs it just shook the room to pieces, fantastic. This is a truly reluctant sale, with a new combo enroute i just can't afford to keep it. Comes with original power supply, padded carry case, and manuals. Would like what i paid for it which was £300 and it will cost possibly £25 to post it or you can of course try it out and collect from Portsmouth. Payment by paypal gift or bank transfer. Pictures - cheers, Ben.

 6.
this bass is as old as me, and in beautiful nick!! good luck with the sale Dave
Thanks Dave, with a bit of luck its off to France today or tomorrow and i'm going to miss it big style its a fantastic bass the new owner should be ecstatic with it.
 7.
has anyone seen the 5 string hollowbody on bass directs website? crikey... time to start saving i think
I played that when I was at bass direct it's incredible, just couldn't afford £3000! One day!
 8. This has now sold pending payment. It's off to Le France! Bon.
 9.
Can we see it without the pickguard please?
Of course I'll get some photos sorted out tonight it looks stunning with and without it.
 10.
Hey Ben Love the new dingwall, great colour ( i used to have a green streamer lx i loved it) ive really wanted to play the fanned frets for a while a fantastic idea!!! one question are you (like me) leaving warwick all the best - lee
Hey Lee, well yes almost, I just found myself incredibly curious with the Dingwalls I was very interested with the fanned fret system I'm a furniture designer so I deal with ergonomics on a daily basis, what I found when I tried the Dingwall was that the Novax system actually bloody works and fantastically so, the bass is the most comfortable I have ever played and the tone thanks to the custom pickups and individual string lengths and tension is something I have just never heard before, if playing Dingwalls means I have to abandon standard basses then I'd be happy to do so cause this bass is fantastic, oh and it sounds great through that Markbass head Cheers
 11.
I'm guessing its stuck on with double sided so if you ever want to take it off you don't have any ugly holes in it
not quite nothing is holding it on yet as I'm still very undecided on the finish I'd hate to ruin the green!
 12.
Are the scratchplate screws extra?
Not quite, I'm waiting for some black ones to come, however the bass without scratchplate looks incredible so I'm not even sure I want to permanently drill screw holes in the finish... Might just keep it for my next one!!
 13.
I'm scared that I won't be able to leave the SSII with you!! Cheers for the offer, something I'd deffo be up for at some point. They look so impressive.
Haha well you may be in luck i'm just waiting for a French guy to send me the money for the Stage II, then it will sadly be gone! Can't believe i'd ever sell it, but i am, I'll cry with my Dinger.
 14.
just to say I have Bens streamer fretless, and I can personally recommend this bass having played it - in fact I want it TBH but I already own a SII from the Warwickhunts family reserve . ....furthermore as Jim quite rightly said Ben is a pleasure to deal with !
Thank you Andy! I hope the fretless is still performing well!!! Just a bump to say this may or may not be off to France today but in case any one was just thinking about it, now is the time to strike!
 15. Well you're not exactly many miles away! Gimmie a shout if you want to pop round and give it a go at some point!
 16.
SC this is frickin awsome.. would love to try a Dingwall...IMO Sheldon really is a pioneer whats the specs, weight, tone etc..anyone know how they compare to the US models? can you give us a bit of a review...oh i do love a good bass guitar review.... much better than Razzle
Hey Bubinga! The specs are, 2 pc Alder Body 5 pc Maple Neck with Sonokilin Rosewood Board wand Offset Dots Novax Fanned Fret System Medium thin D shape Neck profile Dingwall heavy duty truss-rods Candy Green Urethane Finish Canadian Dingwall FD3-A Pickups EMG BT Preamp and Circuit cant weigh much its half the weight of my Streamer Stage II easilly, i can try and get a weight sorted this weekend as well as much more indepth and glamourous photos! I'll do a review to at somepoint this weekend! Cheers, I compared this bass against the Canadian ABZ, and Canadian Afterburner II, while those two basses where fantastic, i loved the Combustion for A) Being Active and having the layout of Pickup Volume, Pickup Volume, Treble and Bass, this is how i like my basses as its incredibly easy to dial in many different tones, i plan on doing a video playing a few different Jamiroquai songs with this bass to show how versatile it is, the ABZ was a passive bass and the combination of Ash and Maple was a bit too zingy for me and it sounded muted compared to the Combustion, the ABII sounded huge and played beautifully, but for £3000 i would expect so, i felt more comfortable using the Combustion on a daily basis and not keeping it under lock and key!
 17.
that is fantastically bonkers

Love it. Congrats

I'm green with envy - superb bass

That is the most ridiculous but at the same time brilliantly amazing bass i have seen today.

SAHWEEET! I really want to try a Dingwall soon too as these are (currently) the only basses that are giving me GAS. Great colour too.

Looks like something from the future! awesome
Cheers guys, its a genuinely fantastic bass, i recommend everyone to try one, for its price *£1200* its one of the best basses in its field, glad people are digging it!

 20.
Must admit I'd love to try fanned frets someday.
Sooner rather than later i hope, there is no learning curve you just find your fingers naturally rest where they should and your second nature in playing will take over and you'll forget them.
 21. Hey guys this is my latest buy! Updated Obligatory rig shot added! Cheers
