Barefaced Two10S (Excellent "As New" Condition)

I'm in the process of selling off a lot of my gear because I hardly gig these days, and my Barefaced Two10S is one of the items I'm putting up for sale.

It's in excellent condition, no tolex peel at all, it was only used at home and gigged twice by the previous owner, and since I've owned it, it's not left my house at all.

It comes with a Roqsolid cover worth £60 and the original box the cab was shipped in.

29 lbs - is neat. Same weight as the Barefaced BB2 I've just sold. However, it requires an extension cab to deliver its full 800W payload and is a 400W combo as a standalone unit, but that's still pretty decent.

 

However, I was a little gobsmacked at how light the new Markbass 1x12 combo range are - I think closer to 21 lbs.

 

 

I didn't realise it was only launched yesterday, like you, I'd be impressed if anyone owns one yet, but with the free next day delivery someone might have one delivered today.🙂

I agree that 29lbs is extremely light for a 210 combo, the Fender Rumble 210 extension cab weighs more at 39lbs.

Yep! The neck on this one is unbelievably good, I've owned many basses over the years and this neck is by far the best I've ever played, I just wish I could justify keeping it, but I've only played two gigs since December 2019. 🙁

This bass plays and sounds absolutely fantastic, and is in beautiful condition.

If you've thought about going down the Lakland route, then you will not get any better than this top-of-range model.

Swamp Ash body with Birdseye Maple neck, and it comes with two original Lakland pickguards, one black (fitted), and one tortoiseshell (not fitted).

Body Contours: Front and Back.

Weight: 8.8lb (digital scales).

With import duties etc, this bass would cost around £4,000 new.

Fender American Professional Jazz Bass Maple Neck 2018 (Fully Loaded)

I purchased this beautiful neck but never used it, so I have decided to move it on.

It was originally fitted to a Fender American Professional Jazz Bass, but it is in "as new" condition, it looks like it was removed without ever being played.

It can be seen and inspected at my home in Bridgnorth, Shropshire.

If you are one of those bassists (like me) who love the Precision bass tone, but prefer the slimmer Jazz neck, then this will fit straight on and play beautifully.

I've sold a few things recently to fellow BC'ers who live in NI and never had any problems whatsoever, I booked the couriers in the normal way through InterParcel, and it was no different than sending something to mainland UK, no paperwork or forms to fill in.

yes it could be plugged into any speaker but a bass cab may not carry vocals very well, maybe add more tweeter if the cab has one….I’ve played an mP3 through my markbass amp and speaker setup.

It really is a fantastic bass, I've owned around thirty P basses in my time, and this is a cut above all the others.

I played my last proper gig in December 2019 and haven't been in a gigging band since, so I really can't justify keeping it.

For a one-off session, could we connect a powered PA to bass guitar cab?

The reason I ask is because four of us want to have knock in a village hall where there won't be a PA, but one of the guys has a powered PA but no speakers, so we were wondering if it is possible to connect the PA to a bass cab to get us through the session.

I've tested these mics alongside the Shure SM58 when recording my acoustic guitar, and I can honestly say that I couldn't notice any difference between the two.

They are in very good condition, although one of them has some marks (circled) from when I put some tape on it.
