The build books are a nice idea.

I just stick to make and 'old' or the colour if needed - so, 'The black jazz' or 'The old Spector'...no actual names.
But now I'm thinking...am I saying 'The black jazz' or 'The Black Jazz' ?
I can't tell. Maybe they do have names after all.

Anyone else discovered this ?
I also play fingerstyle but the question is best pick shape when picking several songs in a set
I haven't, no...but the best pick is the one you feel comfortable with.
If the larger ones give you a secure grip then go for it. I've always used smaller 'guitar' ones, but it's horses for courses.

Looks like a fun project. Keep it as unscientific as you like 👍

I'm impressed with Malta, good turn out for half a million people.
Turkey's cheating though...

The guitarist has been in contact, seeing if I want to 'jam' with this drummer. I don't see how you can 'jam' mathrock so this suggests to me that he's not nailed the songs properly.
If there's a bass amp for me to use, I might go along for an hour. I feel like I should give this chap a (brief) crack of the whip...
...although a very large part of me feels it'll be a waste of time.
Having trouble letting go, I guess.

Be honest and say it’s not working, thanks and goodbye.
This, it really is the only way.
Acknowledge that she's tried and gave it her best shot, but that what she's doing isn't working out. I find it best to focus on what they're doing rather than saying she isn't a good fit.
Good luck, never an easy thing to do.

It's not just about being able to play them, you have to play them as they're transcribed in the exam pieces. So if you're not in the same key, or if you decide to add/remove parts, then you'll have points subtracted.
Yes - I'd expect that be the case. No 'interpretation'

I've no knowledge of musical grades (except that my wife has lots of them !), and to see a list of pieces of music, some of which I know, and know that they're what constitutes Grade 7 is really interesting.
Thanks for posting.

I'm not convinced about 'Hendrix' either.
I'm seeing far more Tooting Popular Front than Axis: Bold As Love.
