Has anyone ever seen a fretted natural finish acoustic bass as a Deko? I've only ever seen the black ones or once a fretless natural acoustic bass.

If a natural 4 string acoustic bass comes up it's mine! A couple of fivers have been up the last few days and some black 4 stringers! Don't know if I need it but for that price it's not to be sniffed at!

I've done it. It's really not too difficult, just take your time and go slowly with it. Put tape in between the frets so if you do get tear out it can easily be replaced. I did it on a maple fretboard and used some rosewood veneer to put in the gaps. What are you planning to fill them with? Oh and be prepared to do a lot of sanding.

I have it! I was very nervous when I was opening it because I didn't know what was wrong with it. Almost nothing, it turns out. In fact so much so I don't know what is wrong with it. The only thing it might be is that it doesn't have a finish on the neck but I don't know if it is just super light coloured wood! So very chuffed with it though and it comes with D'addario XLs which is brilliant!

My parcel moved to DHL place in Germany on Friday and hasn't moved since. Again very surprised that nothing happen yesterday, not so much today.

Yay! Got the dispatch email today. Now I have to hope that it isn't naff!
