1.
I don't have any further advice here, but just wanted to say that your Avatar pic has made my day, G-G-G-Granville.
I was going to say exactly the same thing!
2. Had a call from Marshall yesterday and UKMail have found it! It must have fallen down the back of the sofa or something I guess.... So apparently it SHOULD be with Marshall today! Hurrah!
3.
How could they possibly lose an amp, that's ridiculous. I suspect that there is now a very disappointed bass playing UK Mail employee.
Exactly! I sent it off last friday, was expected to take a week, it's especially annoying as I have a gig tomorrow. Luckily I'm borrowing a friends head.
4. Had another call from Marshall today, UKmail telling them to put a claim in, obviously they don't make them anymore so who knows what's going to happen next!!
5. Little update, rung Marshall today, it never made it to them, UKMail have lost it. Apparently it's not at the milton keynes depo and they are now searching my local one.
6. I have some to send! Will get them in the post when I can. I'm also going to post this on my Facebook so all my guitar friends see it and on my bands Facebook to get it out there a bit more
7. It's taken me years to find the right pedal for me. The Fuzzrocious Rat King is the best pedal I've ever owned.
8.
Cool - I saw Intraverse at the Gazastock festival a year ago - great band, loadsa energy. Will try and make it to the Forum shows. Cheers for posting!
Awesome! Hopefully see you there!
9.
No, and a word of warning, if you have the volume on very loud and it suddenly comes to life, you`ll blow your ear-drums, those amps are incredibly loud. Bear in mind these amps are getting on a bit now, time for a service. Take a day off work, book it in, and book the tour round the factory. They`ll do it while you are wandering round. Great company, Marshall on their customer service.
I was being very careful trust me aha! I would love to head up their but I'm not going to have time before our next gig, it's being picked up tomorrow and they said it would take about a week to sort out. On the phone they think it's something to do with the limiter circuit. Hopefully and easy fix for them. Absolutely love this amp!
10. So last night I get the studio all set up and ready to go to rehearse, go to play and there's hardly any volume coming out of my amp. My first thought is it must be the lead from the head to the cab, checked that and it's fine. Then I thought oh no the cab has blown or something so I tried run my guitarist head through it quickly and that's fine too. So it must be there head, it all powers up, however one weird thing is the peak light is always on. I have to turn the volume up very very loud to get even a tiny bit of sound. So I think I will be sending it off to Marshall Anyone had this sort of thing before?
11. Hello! Can't wait for this show! I'm playing with both my bands on the same night. It's my first gig with my new band, 'Intraverse' who I have followed since I was 14 and have always been a huge fan of and good mates with them. Also my other band 'In Tyler We Trust'. Plus my other good mates our playing at this show too so it's going to be a great night! If you're kent based and fancy a great night out this promises to be awesome! Here is the line up and full details with links to all the bands: FRIDAY 23RD AUGUST DOORS 7PM // 16+ CYRANO www.facebook.com/cyranoband STORM ENGINE www.stormengine.co.uk/ INTRAVERSE www.facebook.com/intraverse ALL THE ABOVE www.facebook.com/AllTheAboveUK IN TYLER WE TRUST www.facebook.com/intylerwetrustuk STRAY DOGS www.facebook.com/straydogsbanduk ======================================================= Local & Live will not be happening this year on The Pantiles. This is a tragic loss to the Tunbridge Wells live music scene so in place of this event, this year Paul Dunton in association with The Forum will be hosting a weekend of fundraising events to ensure that this great festival of local music happens in 2014. Please support Local & Live by coming to these events. You can pay to come to each individual show or alternatively by a weekend ticket and attend all 4 shows. 12. Cheers for all the replies guys, it's a nice bass but looking at the finances I think I will be moving it on after all.
13. Wow cheers for all the replies everyone! I shall read up and through all this later. Cheers!
14. Morning all, Doing that whole thinking of a band name thing again and have come across a bit of a problem (possibly?) We have come up with a name, however there is a relatively small clothing company in america with the same name. I assumed that would be a registered brand name? So where does it stand with bands? Could we go for that name? What's the 'rules'? Cheers!
15.
I don't think the OLPs had serial numbers / model designations as such, they were just low-cost Korean-made takes on the Stingray with various finishes, 4 or 5 strings and active or passive EQ as specced. Looks like they go for £100-150 on eBay, depending on spec and condition - if the one you've found is cheaper than that go for it!
Yep I went for it and it was a lot cheaper than £100, I have cleaned it up and lowered the saddles (they were fully up) and sorted the scratch plate out. I bought it to sell it on, but having played it for the last hour or so I'm really liking it!
16. HI Guys, I was just walking past a shop down my road that sell all kinds of bits and pieces (old guitar, comics, etc) and this was outside. It was very very cheap. I tried it out and gave it the once over, it needs a little set up and a new set of strings over than that it's pretty much mint condition. Lovely finish. There's no serial or anything like that so I just wondered how I could find out exactly what the model is? There's a few on eBay and they are going for A LOT more than what I paid for this. Thanks for any help! Cheers
17. I would love to see Chris Wolstenholme and Dom Howard there. There is always a section in Muse sets where they do a few little bass and drum tracks like this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0tA6M-Dnizk Would love to see that!

19. Great idea to put one of those pick holders on the board!
20.
nice - but what's the board? looks similar to a NYC pedalboard??
Diago Gigman. I used to have a tour man but it was huge and one day I woke up sold all my multi fx units and went with single pedals. Best decision I ever made!
21. No worries, if I didn't have my Marshall rig I would take this off you. So if you know anyone after a Marshall rig let me know!
22. I've been waiting for my Fuzzrocious Rat Tail to arrive before posting my board, so two months later here it is! Very happy with this set can't see it changing for a little while, does everything I need and more. I might add a Mooer delay so for one section of one of our songs where i need to delay to go pretty crazy very quickly.
23.
Is that getting used at the Forum next month?
This is most definitely getting used at The Forum next month! I will be velcroing it to my board tonight and that is where it shall stay!
Love the black sparkle enclosures! Love my Rat Tail too, real gnarly dirt!
Yeah I had to go with the black sparkle, it's a stunning pedal!
