superb amp this but living in a flat its just not getting used. cosmetically its seen some life,
the previous owner had fitted a plank of wood to attach the casters as they kept coming off.
i took it off as it was unsightly and i dont gig so didnt need the wheels. i still have it though so can easily put it back on.
compressor, chorus and a valve simulation setting with two memory settings to instantly recall your fav` set up.

to my way of thinking if it was going to have a problem it would have done so already with the amount of use its had.
it weighs 34kg and is just about ok for lifting.

here is a few reviews and it gets praised very highly.

i believe they was around £700 new so well worth £150 me thinks or a trade for a pre-amp or headphone amp?
    with cash either way.

pick up preferable but a courier would take it but you are looking at £30-40

please excuse my bloody awful pictures.

    cheers. ad

  2. ibby prestige range are awesome and the necks are the best out there for my money. ive had many boutique basses over the years costing thousands but never had a player like my prestige neck through so stopped buying and changing basses because the wood looks fantastic and sticking with my reasonably priced ibanez as i am never going to better it for my needs. the necks are astounding and so slim and fast. i had a sr1304 back in the nineties which is pretty much the same as above in terms of wood and always severely regretted selling it. it was so easy to play it virtually doubled my skills and speed in an instant. whoever buys this will be totally happy with it and for the money have a phenomenal bass.

  3. hi matt, how ya doin mate? yes standard cav`s for a jazz neck and M`M pick,up. nut width is 40mm and its light as a feather as it is. just charging batt`s for scales. post is no prob and going to be £7 or less. it will pleasantly surprise whoever buys it for sure. cheers, ad

  4. i have a new one of these complete but with no elecs or pick ups and was going to defret it but it slaps better than most basses i have played due i think to the brass thats in the headstock as per sales bumph so it seemed a shame to defrett it.
its essentially brand new bar a few marks and plays real nice, they are rrp $899 so not a complete cheapy.

  5. hi phil, lovely bass mate, not seen one in painted finish like that before, i got a sr1304 back in 92` and it has made me only able to use these basses as the necks are so thin and fast and there is not much that touches them for playability. my current bass is a heavily modified sr1000 esm from around 2006-7 and i absolutely love it and doubt i will ever need another bass as it ticks all the boxes. good luck with the sale as these are criminally overlooked as a fantastic bass type bump. ad

  6. 8!!! thats rude! i have had a lot of basses but a wal is still my top bucket list bass. i heard a band in the early 80`s with a fretless wal and it sounded out of this world. i didnt even play at the time but remember it standing out as an awesome sound. cant see this hanging around long as its very pretty and what with being overhauled recently its got to be as good as buying new. drool drool.
pray tell, what is the reason behind the dark one being the daddy?

  7. yew is not a wood you see very often on a bass but it looks bloody awesome! one of the nicest i have seen in a good while. i will have a wal one day! just not this day unfortunately.
