  1. brought from here a couple of months ago but i have sold my head so might as well sell this on. its a fab` sounding cab and puts out much more bass than i expected. In inches it's 18.5 wide by 19 high by 13 deep. 8 ohms and 20kg`s
It's loaded with Ashdown's own Sica Neodymium 8"s, which came from Ashdown direct.
its spec` at 600 watt and was brought from Nickytwister who changed the drivers in it.
i think its worth every penny i payed for it so £125 delivered firm.

  2. [attachment=71178:P1015169_copy.jpg]SWR studio 220 head in fantastic condition, valve pre-amp stage with solid state power amp. 220 watts RMS in 4 ohms so packs a good punch. its pretty much the same design and layout still used on current models with a 4 band pera eq. two effects loops a balanced out and an adjustable electronic crossover for bi amping which is very handy for adding a power amp to run the bass and use the internal amp for the treble so you can make a monster rig with it. its rack mounted and has been so for its entire life by the looks of it as its spotless. getting hard to find in this condition its a real classic and one of the first designs swr came up with and largely still the same as in todays amps from them. they were discontinued in 1998 so its at least 13 years old but is pretty much spotless condition. these really are belting amps and nice and light at 13.5 pounds. not over fussed about selling it but it doesnt get the use it deserves as i live in a flat and the headphones generally get used. i am officially old and boring!

  3. i have the sr1000 and this is the same bass with a bolt on neck for under half the price. for my taste its the best neck profile i have played they are awesome. a very under rated range of basses. bump

  4. hi icastle, i wasnt pointing any comments at you but agreeing with earlier comment about buying animals. i had to get a previously rescued dog of mine rehomed years ago as i could not keep him in new house and it broke my heart. you did a good thing getting them all taken care of. some would open the door and let your problem walk away. ad

  5. the sort of people(for want of a better word) who buys pets from dealers and shops are the sort who generally get bored when they realise that the cute little bundle is now dropping hairs and other things and costs a small fortune to feed and keep healthy and dump for someone else to look after as they find it hard to manage their own person hygiene let alone another animals. i need to draw breath! i personally have always taken rescue animals and clean up after other people when they get bored and love my rosie(big dog) and my wee birds(the last thing that should be in a cage so mine a free to leave it though not out the window). i can see i am starting to table thump so will sign off. glad you got a resolution to your prob. change raspberry to copious amounts of haranguing please now i know its not bothering you icastle. ad

  6. i really have been trying to resist but not neutering on moral grounds! i think with all the unwanted pets we have in a so called animal loving country and the vast numbers destroyed because the charities are overwhelmed is proof that worrying about tibbles balls and how he wont be able to strut his stuff has back fired in a big way. lets hope they dont reach sexual maturity and multiply even further! i hope you manage to find a suitable home for them and that they get to have a long but sterile life. and blow a raspberry at the ex for me if you see her. thats the nicest way of putting it anyway. ad
