7. I have a Boss Acoustic Simulator AC-2 effect unit. It does not quite simulate an acoustic guitar (to my ears anyway). But it does cut down a little of the electric sound. Does anybody know of a portable unit that does get that acoustic sound from an electric guitar?

 10. Two Questions: a) I am wanting to buy a surge suppressor to use with my bass guitar amp. Do I buy any surge suppressor on the market?--or do I need a special suppressor for a bass amp? Are all suppressors equal? Any recommendations? When having mislaid a mains lead for one's amp you often hear: 'Use a kettle lead'. It fits--but are amp leads in any way different from a kettle lead?--fuse maybe? I know that a kettle takes a fair amount of electricity to use so should be OK? What fuse would you put in a mains plug for an average amp?--the same fuse for a 50W amp and a 500W amp? Your knowledge welcome. (Ps--I'm to young to die!)

Mooradian padded gig bag. Exchange or part exchange for: Top quality full bodied archtop guitar (acoustic or electric) Pre-war 4 string plectrum banjo Top quality acoustic or semi-acoustic bass guitar PM me.
 20. My '2 cents' worth Lazurus. I have tried bowing Innovation strings--they didn't do it for me. But what I did like about Innovation was that I liked that 'old school' sound I was after--and good for slap. I changed to a used set of Evah Weich's and they are great for bowing / pizz / and slap. Infact I have a 2nd DB and I am thinking of putting on another set of Evah Weichs.
 21. Ist class transaction with Shonks. 100% recommendation.
