They sound pretty close. Ceramic pickup instead of the classic AlNiCo ones. This model has a 1.5” nut instead of the 1.625” too if I recall correctly.

Thankfully I picked up my MC6 last year and am very happy with it thanks to ThorpyFX in the UK. 

Available to buy on Friday. They’ve been building units since January or so.

I meant you weren’t running it into any kind of external filter.

It definitely feels more organic and rich than the FI and C4 I had, but the menu system is quite convoluted - it's OK once you're used to it but having not used it for a while I really had to re-learn how it works! Luckily I quite enjoy that sort of thing when I'm in the right mood.
