1. I had an Allen key issue with some hipshot stuff I had!! The best way was to email hipshot there pretty quick and will tell you exactly what you need.
2. Still here bump
3. Great guy to deal with as well. I bet that things a beast!!
4. As title says, its not in mint condition but is in good enough shape for a project comes with screws and needs a good home!! GONE
5. All yours if you want it, just let me know nearer the time!
6. Great little short scale bass. Works perfectly fine only a few cosmetic issues, Theres buckle rash at the back, two small 5p sized chips at the bottom, a couple of chips on the headstock smaller than 5p and a small amount of lacquer cracking where your arm goes. The pickup and pots are absolutely fine with no crackling, the pickup is slightly raised at both edges, just the plastic parts probably where someone has fitted strings and they've got caught as theyve tuned up. The nut has a crack in it but is totally stable and doesn't affect the working of the nut at all. This plays really well and I've given the fretboard and wire a good clean as well as the bridge and body. This instrument was put together in 96/97 and were only made for a year or so. You don't see too many of these about. There's some pictures of my bass on this link. http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=115365&st=0 I'm looking for £180 Inc postage.
7. In great condition works absolutely fine. Comes boxed and with all the instructions and cd. Will get pictures up tonight only selling as I need to recoup money from a bass purchase!! Sorry pic is upside down but you get the gist!! £110 Inc postage SOLD
8. Genuine fender Mex pick ups work fine but note that they are two short pickups as were standard on basses from pre 00's, I have some fresh foam for the underneath and I should have the original screws somewhere to. £15 inc postage
9. Try the Mxr el grande bass fuzz. If you want mental you'll get it!!
10. They couldn't be more different. The vt bass will go from crunch to overdrive to a clean eq/boost. The blogger is more of a distortion than a fuzz and the overdrive isn't proper overdrive either really was more like crackly noise that seemed pointless. The distortion/fuzz was useful though!
11. I ended up with a sansamp vt bass, then got rid of that for the deluxe model because I liked it so much. But that's 230 quid not 50 lol and I was using the blogger a hell of a lot before that. What I was looking for was a pedal that could do very low drive and found that the sansamp could do low drive and full on overdrive really well so it ended up replacing a couple of pedals on my board.
12. I actually sold mine in the end, but I really liked it at low levels for a crunch, I found the drive mode pretty useless but thats just my opinion. I kinda regret selling it it sounds nice recorded and cuts through nicely live.
13. More expensive CV with a maple board that's all it is. I also think that the Standard Fender prices are far to high now, although i will say that the quality is much much better than it was ten years ago.
14. Does anyone else fancy KFC now?
15. Bought a bass from Jon, great seller, sent the bass as quick as he could and it's a great bass!! Cheers!!
