  1. I bought an apogee interface from John, arrived day after paying for it. Couldn't be happier!! Buy with confidence!
  2. Thanks guys! Mines got a fretless neck on, the pre amp is ok. I may look into replacing though! Any recommendations??
  3. I've got a squier deluxe active jazz bass and am interested in swapping the pickups. Can I use any passive pickup to do so? I believe the stock ones are passive. Was thinking of putting dimarzios in instead. This doable or will it ruin them?
  4. I have a jazz bass neck in rosewood that has creme pearloid blocks. It is in very good condition although one fret (2nd fret) seems to have a bit of an issue, I have filed it down a bit and that has helped but I think it could do with a proper fret level and dress. I swapped the nut for a graphite one which is much better than the original plastic one it came with comes with the string tree but no tuners. This cost me £80 new but am looking for £35 posted as it may require a bit of work on that fret. [attachment=227812:neck front.JPG] [attachment=227813:neck rear.JPG]
  5. I have a sonic blue fender like precision bass body that I am no longer using, I believe it to be from a Sue Ryder Bass,it's an alder body the bridge is neck thru as well as standard stringing, has a few dinks but nothing major, creme pearloid scratch plate, electronics, knobs, but does not come with a pickup. This does fit a standard fender width neck. I am selling a precision Fender Mexican pick up on here for £20 if you would like one. £50 inc postage. [attachment=227811:Blue Body.JPG]
  6. I have a fender like orange precision bass body I am no longer using that needs a new home, I believe it is a respray squier body, fits standard fender sized necks nicely. It does have a few dinks and the spray job isn't perfect but is pretty good. Come with electronics, knobs, bridge (no screws), neck plate with screws, white pearloid scratch plate. Unfortunately there are no pickups, but I am selling some Fender Mexican ones on here for £20. £50 inc postage [attachment=227810:Orange Body.JPG]
  7. A set of Fender Mexican P Bass pickups, plenty of wire to put into your bass, in practically brand new condition (no screws). £20 inc postage [attachment=227265:Fender P bass.JPG]
  8. Gotoh vintage style tuners in chrome ,comes with a bit of a mis-match of screws but these can be bought on the WD music site for 14p each if you want the originals (half of them are). All in good condition SOLD [attachment=227264:Tuners.JPG]
  9. Have a set of original trad wizard pickups for precision bass I picked up a while ago. In good condition with lots of life left in wires and screws. (SOLD) [attachment=227263:Wizard.JPG]

  13. Thanks for the reply, when I wrote dimension I actually just meant the dimensions of the neck. My bad!! Forgot there was a fender dimension branded bass. So I'm guessing it would be fine with a normal fender jazz neck?
  14. Does anyone know if the width of the neck pocket on a J&D jazz bass would fit a standard fender dimension neck?
