To me they feel just right. I was really wanting a corvette, then played the streamer and just had to have it I think the attraction of the corvette was something to do with the price as well as the looks.

A cheap fretless 4 and a DHA purist. Really want to start buying things for making some cabs too. Only two weeks left of uni though so I can see my bank having a big pint glass shape dent in it before long after all the celebrations hehe. I would much rather have relevant advertising. I don't visit forums where there are different classes of members, and I'm not going to start doing so. We invest our money in companies, so they should be the ones investing in the community that is buying stuff from them. And fees do not "ensure longevity of a stable and friendly community" They pay for the things such as hosting and bandwidth that any site, regardless of whether they charge subscriptions, has to pay.

As has been said before, haggle! They will probably try the old "we have a shop and staff to pay for, line" but show them somewhere that is also a bricks and mortar shop selling to the general public and they will come down. If they don't come down the £40, get a strap/cable/set of strings/whatever thrown is as well as the smaller discount.

All solid state at the moment, but would love to try some valves! probably in pedal format.
