1. I have decided to sell my Epifani UL410 S1 bass cab. This is one of the original models made in the USA. It is a Series 1, neo 4x10, rated at 1000 watts, 4ohms and with the B&C speakers and variable tweeter. This cab is extremely loud and would suit somebody looking for a one cab solution that can still provide a full range sound. The dimensions are: 26.25"H x 23"W x 17.75"D, or, 670mm H x 585mm W x 450mm D. It weighs 57Ibs, which is a blessing for those of us without roadies. Epifani cabs are renowned for their massive, fat bass tone, punchy mids and musical highs. This is a professional quality cab and it sounds fantastic with my DB750 and performed superbly with my Peavey T-max that i sold recently. A fast transient bass amp would probably be the best match for this cab. I bought the cab about 4 months ago and decided to buy it along with the DB750 i have, but have now decided to match it with an Aguilar cab ( heavier, but wheels will make the difference ). When i bought the cab i bought it based on photos, but wasn't made aware of a small tear in the rat fur ( i only noticed a number of days later ), on the lower side edge. It also has a very minor mark on the grill which is hardly discernible ( hard to see in photos and barely seen when on stage ) and a tiny blob of something stuck in rat fur on top. Apart from that the cab is in excellent working condition and is fully operational. Because it is not in A1 condition cosmetically i will be asking for £450. I live around 5 minutes from J10 of M6. I would be willing to drive and meet to help save on journey time, or arrange a courier. See reviews below. 2.
So, is this still available?
Bump in the night Fantastic amp. i was blown away by my DB750 when i took it out initially, and it still, the sound astounds me. The sound/quality of tone is immense. Best of luck with sale; I mean it shouldn't take long
 3.
Looking for a fairly hi-fi pokey and portable small cab. I've seen single 12's for sale. Anyone do a single 10"?
somebody on Ebay is selling a Euphonic Audio 1 x 10 cab for £250
 4. Hiya anyone who can put my mind at ease. I was just moving some gear out of hallway and the DB750 which is in a rack case toppled over ( amp was on floor ). I set it up with my bass cab and when i plugged in my Fender Jazz bass it was, to my perception, making more of a buzzing noise than usual. This is especially true while standing fairly close to amp, but buzzing goes quieter when moving away from amp. I fear i may upset the tubes in the pre-amp section or maybe even the mosfets. Having said that when i unplugged my bass the amp was very quiet ( amp wasn't left on mute setting ). Can anybody advise as i'm sweating about it and don't now of any amp specialists in the West Midlands area who could be trusted to service my amp. The buzzing is similar to that of my Trace Elliot GP12 SMX combo. I have however worked out that the buzzing isn't there if i turn the dial for tube/solid state on pre-amp towards solid state giving me some indication that the premp tube ( 12ax7, i think ) might need replacing or there might be some loose soldering in the circuit perhaps. I would be grateful for any advice, Thanks Daz
 5. I recently bought the DB750 amp off stone cold bass and have to say i absolutely adore it. I have read reviews on the Db750 coupled with a Db410 cab and it gets raved on about. I currently run the DB750 with an Epifani UL410 but have been told the DB410 cab does a much better job tonally. Whats your opinion on the quality of sound of your set up and why are you selling. Reviews say the cab is mid biased, punchy and a bit of a growl. Would you say the cab is articulate and responsive with the DB750

 7.
Hiya fellow bass chatters, I have for sale a Peavey Micro bass combo ( £100 new ), Yamaha bass ( £370 new ), gig bag and instrument lead. The combo has hardly been used and is in excellent condition. The bass plays fairly well for a lower priced bass and stays in tune ( no rattles or buzzing ) and doesn't look too bad . It has been restrung with medium gauge D'addario strings and comes with a gig bag. The bass has some damage to the lower side ( see photo ) and a bobble missing from the selector toggle. The toggle selects either the P or J pickup. This would suite a beginner. Daz P.S. I live about 5 minutes from J10 of the M6.
bump

 9.
^^ it is of late 80's - mid 90's stock, so it will either be Japanese or Taiwanese.
Just checked the back. Made in Taiwan.
 10.
Absolute steal!!! The attitude is worth £200 alone. good luck andy
yep, you would have thought so. Nothing wrong with the gear apart from damage to bass ( doesn't affect it's integrity though ) thanks

 12. Hiya fellow bass chatters, I have had this bass lying around for a while and haven't used it much of late. It has recently been restrung with some d'addario medium gauge strings. It plays quiet well for a lower priced bass ( cost £370 new ),stays in tune, no rattles or buzzing and doesn't look too bad. It does however have some damage to the lower side ( see picture ) and a missing toggle bobble. The toggle still works and selects either the P or J pickup. Comes with a gig bag. The Peavey Micro bass combo ( £100 new ) has hardly been used and has no damage. It has only seen home use a few times. Included is good quality instrument lead. I think this setup would be ideal for a beginner. P.S. I live 5 minutes from J6 of the M6. Daz
bump for crazy offer week!
you initially said you weren't desperate to get rid of it, seems like thats an extremely low price. why don't you hang on and wait till some one gives you it's worth i was just looking at this bass and have checked reviews and it looks and should be a stunning bass. If your advert were 3 months from now i would have gladly given you the money for the bass, but now is just the financially the wrong time have a massive bump !

 15.
Not sure what you mean by "Peavey isn't a name people normally associate with good quality gear"? IMO the opposite is true...
Of course they do great gear, but they do have sell their products well below other manufacturers products and they aim there products people who want value for money. The usual bling is missing as is usually the case with other companies, and that is what i meant figuratively. the sentence wasn't meant to be a complete statement, " ..................." ; an inverse epithet of some sort, certainly not. I just want to try and make the advert appeal to people looking for the usual pedigree/big name amps that are usually on the bass amp shopping list. As we know, reputation isn't always a guarantee.

 19. Hiya fellow Bass Chatters, I have finally decided to let go of this amp because i just don't need it. The amp has been looked after and is in excellent condition; No knobs or E.Q. sliders missing and in full working order and always stored indoors. The amp itself is in a rackcase which is included in the sale. Also included in the sale is a footswitch ( selection of pre-amp, E.Q. effects on/off ). The amp is rated at 500 watts 2ohms, 350 watts 4ohms, 200 watts. I have gigged it with various cabs and can say it has been very reliable whether it be a small one cab gig or large venues with two cabs. Peavey isn't normally a name people associate with good quality gear, but i can say for this price you will be getting excellent value for money ( cost £600 new ). The amp has several features so rather than blab on about it i will include attachments from the peavey T-Max booklet that is included., however for a brief overview; Tube or solid state pre-amp ( either one can be selected or they can be blended ) high/low shelving, 7 band graphic E.Q. DDT compression. The amp can produce either clean soid state sounds or tube-driven sounds of varying degrees because of its tube pre-amp. The potential of this amp will be realised once it has been gigged and sound /function wise the nearest comparison i can make is with a Trace Elliot GP12 SMX 4 x 10 combo i have. Any trial is welcome.I live 5 minutes from J10 of the M6, West Midlands. Daz
 20.
I was just surfing around on youtube and found this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JInxsRyVgCk How difficult would it be to slap like this? Where do you start? I don't slap as I'm more of a rock player - but it's something I've been meaning to learn for while. Any advice?
i only did finger style playing till about 7 years ago and just decided after listening to some records that i liked the sound. my best advice is to get a good slapbass exercise book and maintain a good practice routine with a metronome.once you have become fairly experienced with certain styles of playing, improvise on these.that level of playing naturally without much effort may take 2/3 years depending on your ability/effort.but please note once you start this type of playing, the playing styles become very varied, so the style demonstrated by the bassdude on youtube is one of many.just practice and you will develop a certain style of your own. p.s. some people consider it to be cheese, but it can be done originally.
 21.
Hi Ya, I have bought covers from Silverstone amp covers. Great quality and finish , not the cheapest , but i would highly recomend them. Go for a padded cover , Measure the cab and they will make it fit like a glove I have a fantastic ul410 cab which i bought from chris b. Your cab looks identical to mine which chris rightly sais is a series 1 cabinet. Regards Chris
thanks for confirmation. i will look at the silverstone option as well
 22.
Just to add my experience... I put my DB750 through either an 8 ohm Aggie 4x10 or both the 4x10 and an 8 ohm Aggie 1x15 depending on venue. I play in a 6-piece band with a full sound from keys, guitar, drums and 2 vocalists to compete against. With an active bass, even just using the 4x10 I set the gain at 10.30 (!!) and the master volume just past 9 o'clock and have no volume problems. I leave the amp's bass, mid and treble flat (i.e. 12 o'clock) and flick on the bass boost switch if I'm using the 4x10 on its own. Maybe you're just in a VERY loud band!! CB
what does the db750 sound like run through the aggie 4x10 cab ( is that a gs410 ). does the cab reproduce sound without colouring it too much. does it have a tight bottom end. yes the band is very loud. the drummer is always wincing anyway.i think the guy who does the vocals and sets up the p.a. ( in other words frontman etc etc etc ) is a bit deaf ! infact being pissed doesn't help either lol.
 23.
Well the car sounds nice and quiet on the way home from a gig, so threshold shift has occurred!!!
oh yeh. lol. yes, i've had that surreal quiet drive home.listened to some music and heard sounds in there i'd never heard before.best stop now, started to sound like a hippy
 24.
The Aguilar EQ is passive - so yes it's right that you don't get sound when all the knobs are zero'd. Where did you have the bass and treble boost switches set?
for most of the gig the boost switchs were off ( to the left i think ). only used the treble boost occasionally.
 25.
I have had 4 covers from Jenart Design http://www.jenart.com/contact.html , they have been excellent...go for the 10mm padded version, it offers good protection. You just have to measure the cab accurately for handle position etc, I have one for my UL410 . Here is what I sent them: Cover was about £40 delivered.
hiya moscowbass, what material or materials are your covers made from. price sounds good thanks dude daz
