5.
Hello Fellow Bass chatters. This bass is in excellent condition and plays really well. Only one small ding at rear of bass and a tiny chip to finish on headstock (see pictures). 34'' scale, two piece ash body, Maple neck, Rosewood fingerboard, gold hardware, 3 EQ Yamaha preamp with a 3 way mid selector, Yamaha soap bars. Overall pre-amp provides good EQ control. 7.
Hi Daz, What are the specs on these (ohms, power handling) and where are you? Cheers, OS.
Sorry, forgot to put ohms rating and power. The GS212 is 8ohms at 600 watts and the GS210 is 8ohms at 350 watts. From my experience, there wasn't considerable loss of volume compared to 4ohm cabs while run with a DB750. Daz

 9.
i would really have liked to see it hands on, but if i sell my 1024 (mint ) then i may take the drive. i am very interested though, or would do a swap for the 1024. W. mids is about 3 hours drive £50 in juice. I have played 2 before one awsome one not, so i would like to try really. but v interested. Will see what happenes.... pm me your moby if you dont mind anyways, thanks.
I'm cutting back on basses. I think i know what you mean about two instruments being different, but maybe that was down to the setup or pickups etc. It seems a long way for you to come but if you did take it i could reimburse you half petrol. If you do try it, you may want to use your own amp, although i do have quite a few + Genz Benz shuttle 3.
 10.
hi very nice, where are you based? thanks
Hiya, I am based in West Midlands. I can pay for shipping though as i think you are from Essex
 11.
for sure it wouldnt bother me at all, these are killer basses in every way... you wont find a better bass anywhere for this price... way up there with the boutiques...
Just to reassurre anybody who is looking at this bass it is in full working order and plays extremely well. I have owned several high end basses and this bass isn't a million miles away.
 12.
Ah, my old bass. Plays beautifully and looks a dream in trans red. Really nice neck on this one as well
It is a beauty
 13.
That is curious. Have you had it from new? The fretless version has no dot markers on the fingerboard: Maybe it's a fretless that has been fretted at some point...
I bought it off some guy about 12 years ago and i hardly used it due to using other basses. You may have a point, but i had never considered it. The feel and intonation seems fine. If it was fretted it was a good job. I will have to have a good look at the fretboard. It does have dot markers on the side though
 14.
i had the very same bass.. totally awsome.... but why has your TRB have not dot markers on the fret board..?
The bass is very nice but i am not fully clued up about dots. It has dots on the side of fretboard

 18. Hello fellow bass chatters This amp has been superb in performance and anybody who has one or used one regularly will tell you it is one awsome amp. It has tons of power with immediate presence and clarity. This a hybrid amp with tubes for the pre-amp and mosfets for the main power section. This head is rated at 750 watts into 4ohms and 975 into 2ohms. The amp has treble, middle and bass rotary controls with the added benifit of a deep switch (equates to bass boost) and a bright switch (equates to treble enhancement). This additionsl feature equates to more tonal variety at the flick of a switch without having to fiddle about with settings during gig. Best amp i have ever had. Only selling because i don't need the power any more and it's a shame to see it sitting there not getting use. 19. Hello fellow bass chatters The bass looks marvelous in the pictures but looks even more strking when you see it with the naked eye. The condition of this instrument is excellent with no dings. Soundwise, it has a beautifully balanced 70s Jazz bass tone. The tonal controls are smooth even when the treble is turned up and does not sound harsh. The quality of this instrument really shines in a band mix and the output across the frequency range is very well balanced and doesn't need much E.Q. to balance out string volume. Weighs in at 10Ibs or there about but has great balance. Hardshell case included (not celinder). Danish ash body: Translucent red with grain of wood visible (see pics) Maple neck and fretboard Celinder pickups Greengrove pre-amp. Made in Denmark and standard fit on all the Update basses. This is the later model with adjustable dip switches in the cavity. Celinder bridge Hipshot tuners Pickup controls: Pickup volume for each. pre-amp control, treble control Estimated date of birth: 2008/09 Price: £2000 Daz
 20. I don't know how you ended up with it again, but good luck with sale. For anyone who my be interested, Barrie is a very nice guy who doesn't mind letting you take plenty of time to play and make a decision. And as a bonus cup of tea isn't too much trouble : - )
 21. Very big thanks for Pete who kindly reserved the Genz Benz combo.
