The best you could hope for is a mention in the album sleeve which is mostly a thing of the past these days

I think the TC 450's turned out to be 256 watts the 750's quite a bit more. Thats why I wondered about the modules as someone would of made that link earlier.

It wont take long for the new bass player (or a session player) to redo all the bass lines on the album though, whether that ruins the songs or makes them better is subjective. The songs would need a bass hook something like Fleetwood mac's The Chain, Queen's Under Pressure or AOBTD to get any kind of legal challenge, its hard to put your name to inventing the major/minor scales.

And has the 750 got the 500 watt module from my Shittle 6.0?

So which model of module has the the 450 got then? Is the B&O rating false and its their fault TC got a slating for quoting their amp at 450 watts with a 500 watt module or has it got the same module as my Shuttle 3.0 which was naughty of Genz to call it 300 watts with the 250 module but no where near as naughty as TC for trying to claim it as 450?

Does anyone know exactly which amps do use them genz do but which other are for certain?

[/quote] But thats still using their quoted figures and that might be working on the amp working in a different way regarding clean outputs for normal music etc rather than instruments, also by your method the Streamliner 900 and Shuttle 9.0/9.2 are putting out 1000 watts rather than 900? Makes me want a 9.2 Max even more now

it wont let me edit my post? I meant output at 8 ohm is usually over half of that at 4 ohm.

All the figures I have heard the 8 ohm load is usually more than half of the 4 ohm, Mt Genz 6.0 is 600watts at 4 and 375 at 8 for example (allegedly) and the 3.0 300 at 4 ohms, 175 at 8 for example. Sounds wrong to me too although your point is still valid but as its almost impossible to do anything about it I will do as Nottswarwick does and just use the old lugholes to decide

There's plenty of big people in music, just not bullshit pop music. Pavarotti and meat loaf were not waifs and the big guy in bowling for soup should if anything be a role model to show people you can be the cool one in the band too! I'm not slim but would more likely of been kicked out for being a sh*t player instead! If they have gone along with it I'd say your best off out of it before it goes tits up?

I have never heard of a band that went on to do any good after being treacherous like this. If a label had asked me to kick a member out for being fat I'd of walked out of the meeting!

I am reading brown eyed girl at the moment, it's got some trickier bits and it's taking me a while but it's fun. The riff comes in on the and of 3, I have started to read across the bars and just play the notes at the rhythms I see , did I see you say that was ok somewhere before Doddy, more akin to just sight reading the notes? Ta Funny thing is I can already play it well enough for a dep wedding gig in a couple of weeks time, it's purely for my sadistic pleasure!

That book helped me a lot, I got it after you suggested it in another thread. Got a bit tired of playing E though I'm getting there slowly, in the same way the notes mostly come without thinking now I have had a few little auto pilot moments where the rhythms just went to plan without thinking.

All the damage I have collected on my gear has been done by me usually doing something normal at the time, once I had a bass fall off the bed whilst I was trying to photograph it for insurance purposes!

Could be a duff jack socket too, if it does not contact fully it wont turn the pre amp on.
