I enjoyed that, thanks.

You're very welcome. I'll probably get told off by bluejay, but I'll put up some video from earlier in the year.

Great choice for a song!
Yes and quite relavant at the moment too It's also a surprisingly difficult song to get sounding even close to reasonable. I think we did OK. -
Thank you very much. There are more tracks to come. I think I'm Afraid of Americans is next up for mixing.

Hello,
I thought it was about time I created a page here.
Hot off the press is the final mix of Absolute Beginners from our gig at Chinnery's, Southend on 25/11/16.

Hey guys. Thanks you for all the kind comments.
This truly is a lovely bass and if I didn't have another one, I would definitely keep it.
Any trial welcome. I'm in South Essex. Tea and Hob Nobs gratis. I may even stretch to a Garibaldi 😀 -

Replied.
[s]ON HOLD pending the usual.[/s] -
Several conversations ongoing regarding this and I think I've replied to everyone. Give me a nudge if I've missed anything.
To the top for now. -
Apologies. Previous thread started in the Bass Guitar forum. Please bin this.

Some quite frankly stunning looking basses in here. I really didn't see anything quite like this on the horizon.
That 30th Anniversary Stingray 5 is just stunning.

Would look great with my pink sparkle 😉 Chris fancied that at one point but it's a keeper. Always fancied the blue though ( just sold a black one ) PM sent

....and replied to. -
Ah, The Boots. I've had them for many many years and they only come out on special request. They are the original stitched DM's that you used to be able to get before they started churning out all this spray on rubbish. Purchased in the DM shop in Carnaby Street way back when. No, The Boots are not included. Sorry.

All PM's replied to and a bump.

...and you can do it this way with no gadgets.

There's loads of ways :-)

This way worked a treat with no downloading of programs required.
19 videos now on my laptop. Thanks wateroftyne. -

Aha! Now THAT looks like something I'm capable of! Thank you. -

i noticed that.
AVC will do all of them
Are you running Google chrome by any chance. I downloaded AVC and it crashes every time I paste the URL into it. It does seem to suggest it likes Chrome or Firefox. -
I use Any video Converter. I've tried the Chrome extension and it didn't work for me.
With AVC, which is free http://www.any-video...for_video_free/ you just get the video URL, by right clicking when the video is showing, and paste that URL in AVC and off you go.
It actually works with virtually any website, including youTube.

Cracking. I'll give it a shot. Thanks. -
It's just worked fine for me - I downloaded some random cat video no problem.
Oh. by the way, whoever uploaded them will be able to download them in FB anyway if they click 'options' at the bottom. No gadgets required.

There are actually clips from three different sources and I wanted to do them all. Thanks for the tips. -

I tried and gave up.

Glad I'm not the only one. Most of the links took me to some right dodgy looking websites. -

A minute's research on Google pointed me to this Chrome extension which appears to work a treat..?
Mmm. That's the one I didn't try as last time I installed Google Chrome things went a bit south. If there are no other suggestions I might give it a go. Thanks. -
Nothing dodgy going on here I can assure you.
A good friend took a few videos of our band last Friday and uploaded them to Facebook, which was great.
I asked for them to be e-mailed to me so that I could stitch a few of them for our website. It seems that I wasn't quick enough and they have now been deleted from the device they were shot on.
I've Googled it and if you believe what you read then it's definitely doable. So I tried my best and failed miserably.
Does anyone have a tried and trusted method, preferably at little or zero cost for doing this? -
This is so gorgeous. I'm £2000 short...
DAMN
Yes, sorry Andy. I know you would have been up for it had funds allowed. -
For sale within the UK only. No trades.
I hope Chris doesn't mind me using his original post, but it's this bass and is for sale for the same price which I paid for it earlier this year.
The bass is in the same condition as it was then and comes with a non-original hard case.
The serial number puts it as a 2006 model from when they were still actually a "Flea Bass" rather than a "Funk Unlimited".
It has an Aguilar OBP-1 pre-amp with bass and treble boost and a Hipshot bridge.
It does exactly what you would expect it to. Rock solid neck, monster pre-amp, huge sound and looks to kill.
It has a couple of tiny blemishes on the rear of the body and neck as Chris mentioned, but these are small, a bugger to photograph and are to my mind insignificant.
I wish I could tell you how much it weighs, but my scales broke earlier this year and the new digital ones won't register anything below 11lbs, so at least we know it's not that heavy!
Located in South Essex. Tea and biscuits gratis. Any trial welcome.

** SOLD ** Modulus FB4 (Flea Bass) in Blue Sparkle (2006)
in Basses For Sale
Posted · Edited by hiram.k.hackenbacker
You've had a tough year gigging. In one band, out of the other, whipping the new lot into shape. They've learnt a lot from you and wouldn't be where they are now without all your hard work. What better reward than to buy yourself a fabulous Modulus bass in a stunning Christmassy sparkly blue. How good would it be to find this sitting under the tree on Christmas morning. Go on. How many of these come up for sale .
