I bought this beauty from JD1 last year and it's sat in the case for most of that time. It's strung with D'Addario halfrounds and plays beautifully. It's a shame to part with it but I just don't play it enough to justify owning it (plus I need the cash for another GK NEO112). Click here for JD1's original post to see pictures. As he says, it's in immaculate condition except for a small ding on the lower horn and a few light scratches where a plectrum was slid under the scratchplate. Both are hardly noticable. The bass comes with a moulded Fender hard case (different from the one in the pictures). The case is not in great condition (thanks to Italian baggage handlers!) but does the job. EDIT>> Buyer can choose between the case described above or the rectangular case as shown in the pictures. I bought it for £475 and would like to sell it for the same. Cheers R

Really good venues. We've played them both a few times. We're back at The Yardbird in May I think...
I'm surprise no ones bitten your hand off for this. I sold mine for £260 a couple of weeks ago and it was exactly the same model as this so someone will get a bargain at £200. I'm kind of missing mine a little bit .
I know! I thought I'd be shot of it in no time at this price. Missing yours eh? You could buy mine and still be 60 quid up

Nice one. Looks good. I did mine just the other day too!

I usually increase output volume in Audacity by using the Hard Limiter to cut the signal peaks then use the Amplify effect to increase the volume by the same number of dBs that I just cut.

We supported the Sound Stylistics at the Jazz Cafe in London on Saturday night. Was a great gig. Don't like the house bass rig though - Ashdown ABM 8x10 with an ABM 1x15 combo on top. Good to see Gary Crockett play. He's a great player. R

I've finally got round to selling my Trace Elliot 7215SM combo. I bought it new around 1997/98. I'm pretty sure it's a pre-Gibson model (the one without built-in compression). ***The speaker does tend to cut out and crackle from time to time. I've checked the speaker connections and they seem fine. The same thing happened a few years ago. Took it to my local music shop and they repaired it for £50. Turned out it was a dry joint in the amp.*** FIXED It's been well gigged so it's a little shabby but it's a great sounding amp. Original user guide included. I would prefer collection but delivery (at buyers cost) could be arranged depending on location. £200 To see pictures click here, here and here. Cheers, R
