1. I've finally got round to selling my Trace Elliot 7215SM combo. I bought it new around 1997/98. I'm pretty sure it's a pre-Gibson model (the one without built-in compression). ***The speaker does tend to cut out and crackle from time to time. I've checked the speaker connections and they seem fine. The same thing happened a few years ago. Took it to my local music shop and they repaired it for £50. Turned out it was a dry joint in the amp.*** FIXED It's been well gigged so it's a little shabby but it's a great sounding amp. Original user guide included. I would prefer collection but delivery (at buyers cost) could be arranged depending on location. £200 To see pictures click here, here and here. 2.
Apart from the fact they have no idea how to do a convicing relic job, I bet the customer was ignorant of the MIM routes under the pickguard being so different to the jaco bass and will get a bit of a nasty surprise with the swimming pool round the neck pickup. The discuss covering over the wiring route with gaffa - Yeah that's going to look so cool . An MIM jazz really needs to keep its frock on.
My 2004 MIA Jazz has the same routes. How disappointed was I when I first took the pickguard off.....

    Howdy!

Hi everyone! I was previously BW member Funkjazzer. Finally got round to registering here at BC. Looks great! A little bit about me: I've been playing for about 11 years. I've been playing in funk band Reverend Cleatus & the Soul Saviours (aka The Fantastics!) for 4 years. I play a Fender Jazz through a GK rig. I live in Southend-on-Sea. My favourite album of all time is Keep Your Soul Together by Freddie Hubbard and I'm currently GASing for a fretless Jazz bass. Looking forward to chatting about bass 'n' stuff! Cheers, Ray
