4.
Yeah theres some joker trying to sell his in the classifieds for £650 lol clown bet he paid a grand for it!
ouch! That's a keeper then!
5. My front end is a Sansamp BDDI (£100) and a "Warrior" 1k power amp (£60) into a Genz Benz 6x10 (£350) Granted, I havent used it in a gig situation yet, but it's not breaking sweat in our loud practices. I think power amps are much of a muchness and quite a few of the cheaper ones are just OEM'd versions of the expensive premium brands. You should be able to easily beat the LH1000.
6. What a great setup! Excuse my ignorance, but what's the Black bass in the pic above the pedal board?
7. RATM & Renegades are their best albums imo. Awesome riffage, especially the main riff from Freedom, and halfway through Township Rebellion, yeah! Very satisfying to play along with.

10. 100% on a couple of transactions for £30 boots and other cheap stuff...with just 8 ratings, I'd be wary at this price.
11. Jesus...You'd kill a grown man with that.
12. I've just had an hour with my new setup - Genz Benz 610T-XB2 Prolight 1k Power Amp Sansamp BDDI Squier Vintage Modified Precision and it's the best sounding amp I've owned. Massive amount of clean headroom from the amp, tight punchy bottom end from the cab and that SVT grind from the Sansamp. That from a setup that's cost me £520! So far, I couldnt recommend this route enough.
13. Thanks for the reply, we've got a full band, just want to add the strings or awkward samples for example. I think midi would be ok, we just need to find a decent soft synth so it doesnt sound like a karaoke CD!
14. Hello! Couple of good mates and myself have decided to have a bash at the covers band thing. We're trying to be a little bit different than the averge effort, probably at the cost of some gigs, but we're hoping to maintain a semblance of what we perceive to be "musical integrity"... We're trying to decide between a keyboardist and/or backing tracks. Our drummer is comfortable playing along with click tracks but we're not sure what's exactly possible with backing tracks and how to trigger them etc. Could you in theory start a synth backing track, with the click in the drummers ear and play a whole 3-4 minute song with that running or do you have to be some sort of robot time keeper for it to work? Also, if it is possible, are there resources available (paid or free) where you can download just synth/keyboard/sample backing tracks or do you have to create them yourself? Thanks in advance! Ben.

Radio Hauraki all the way!
18. Bought a Sansamp BDDI from Cliff. Very nice guy, prompt with PMs and the item was exactly as described, packed well and despatched the same day. Great transaction!
