1. Thanks for that I'll take a look GD
2. Never heard of them, had a check on the net, they look great and at only £450 twice the price of the line 6 unit ! GD
3. Hi thanks for that , just checked that out and it looks good, uses Bluetooth instead of some radio frequency that the government will hawk to the highest bidder at some stage. Unfortunately as a try out and see type thing I think it is out of my price range. Bluetooth is so common now does anyone know / recommend any other cheaper alternatives ? cheers GD
4. Hi I'm just toying about with the idea of going wireless. Can anyone recommend me a good system for the bass or alternatively one not to go for ? thanks GD
5. Cheers - any idea from then on ? GD
6. Bought a bass wah and he was a pleasure to do with- even gave me a little bonus to help me out. Great guy. Much appreciated GD
7. We use programmed drums on all our tracks (there's three on the link in my sig), live triggering is possible but just adds yet another thing to go wrong. I would recommend Ableton as well as you can set up your patterns and it will loop it until you trigger another pattern (I have that Behrigner FCB floorboard and it is excellent). Advantages - they never go out of time, always show up on time and don't steal your girlfriend ! GD
8. So I currently run my bass direct into a V Amp Pro rack which acts as my pre amp and part of my basic tone, the signal then goes into an Alessis Quadraverb via a send and return fx loop, which gives me the rest of my tone and my basic fx like chorus / reverb /delay etc. Then the signal goes from the V Amp to a power amp and my cabs. I now want to add a Bass Wah, an overdrive and a Source Audio Envelope Filter to this. Should I 1. Run the bass into these and the output from them into the V Amp and leave the rest of the chain alone 2. Take the fx send and run it into the floor pedals then the quadraverb then the amp 3. Take the fx send and run it into the quadraverb then the floor pedals then the amp 4. Run the floor pedals from an fx loop out of the quadraverb - thereby running two fx loops 5. Something completely different because I clearly don't know what I'm talking about ! Any advice gratefully received (especially point 5) cheers GD
9. I was just starting to play with the idea of getting a wireless bug or something for my bass and read this post, there's a lot of really good info here but it is all a couple of years old now. Does anyone know if this is all still current ? I'd hate to buy something next week and then find I can't use it properly ! thanks GD

21. Things seem quite slow to sell at the moment here on Basschat - so this is going on Ebay tomorrow. GD
22. Hi got a Sonuus B2M up for grabs. It's still boxed, never been gigged and only ever sat on the desk in my studio. Brand new they seem to sell for about £80 but I will do mine for £40 cash and I will pay for postage in the UK. Alternatively I will happily part exchange towards a Wowee Wah Bass Wah or a 2 unit ABS (only) rack case. Here is a link to the website http://sonuus.com/products_b2m.html cheers GD
