1. I was looking at the boss overdrive bass pedals but my thinking is that the Blackstar may have a warmer sound to it. Seeing as it uses valves or a valve in the pedal it self and gets 300v to it, it should in theory sound nice. I'm already running a Sansamp VT Bass pedal to get that SVT sound going. I gotta say, it does what it says on the tin. I just want something to kick in to get a bit of dirt going in front of the VT bass to add another sound or dynamic.
2. If you like the SVT tone, try the Tech 21 Sansamp Svt Bass pedal. I have an old handmade solid state amp by VAJ Electronics. These guys do the servicing for HH Amps. The head i have is a 300 watt head and i run dutch made cabs branded Koch. I have a 2x12 and a 1x15. The pedal transforms it into a Ampeg and blindfolded, you'd swear it was an 8x10 behind you. The downside to my rig is that bug bearing weight of the cabs. I did try an Orange Terror Bass 1000 and one of the Isobaric 4x10's.......that was very nice.
3. Has anyone used a Blackstar pedal on bass at all or know of anyone who does? I got the HT-Dual with its 2 channel design. In theory it should give me a tubey sound and some nice grit. I just don't wanna hook it up and damage the pedal really. Very curious to know if it would work nicely though
4. If you was interested in my right arm and leg, i'd swap. But no money!!!! ( wipes away tears )
5. Hi there. I am looking to join or form a rock covers band with a view to gigging regularly in and around london. Type of stuff i wanna play is mainly Foo Fighters, Muse, Queen, GnR and any classic rock. I have lots of live experience and know a wealth of songs. I have all my own gear and transport. I am keen as mustard to get something going. If anyone know of any bands or any other musicians looking for similar, get in touch.
6. Shame your all the way up scotland and i'm in London.
7. No problems with the bass at all. Only problem is me not adhering to five string basses!

http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=118254 G.
Interested in the shuttle 6..........swap I here?

11. I have a Yamaha BB615 5 string that i may me looking to sell. It is pristine in condition and would come with a hard case, a strap and fitted strap locks. Would be looking for £250 cash on collection <a href="http://s262.photobucket.com/albums/ii83/wrussellmr2/?action=view&amp;current=Yamaha5string.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii83/wrussellmr2/Yamaha5string.jpg" border="0" alt="Photobucket"></a>

13.
price is negociable, but you have to consider that all this gear is less than a year old and in brand new condition...
Like cars mate, as soon as you take it off the forecourt it will lose money. Your bass is £1200 new if you google it. Most people will look and say for an extra £200 i can have a brand new one. Unless guitars or basses have a vintage heritage behind them, people will think twice before parting with close to £1000. Think you may struggle to sell it mate. Your best bet is to advertise it everywhere or swap for the bass you want.
