By chance went into local music shop with my wife and a friend and ended u coming home with the real thing. Once I played it I couldn't imagine playing anything else. It sounds like a Stingray, but just how close it is to the real thing, I've no idea, as I've never played a 'real' one. I've also got a Nordsrand (or something) replacement pickup in it.
