My unlined fretless goodness

Hello all.
Just joined today and figure I'll start by showing of what I'm proud to own.

- Fender Tony Franklin fretless precision bass (with Seymour Duncan Quarterpounder SPB-3)
- Roscoe Century Signature IV FL (solid maple body, diamondwood fingerboard)

A few months ago I owned 7 basses... I thinned the herd to these two.
A third one (also unlined fretless 4-string) is on the way. :)

Thank you. :)

Yes... that Fender is still my main bass. (I got the Roscoe afterwards)
Although the Roscoe is very awesome and technicly better.

Hard to explain. I alternate between the two of them.
That Roscoe's lovely. I've been the happy owner of a fretted LG3000 I got from Mark at Bass Direct for a couple of months now. They're simply fantastic basses. Your fretless looks no different. What's the top wood btw?
That's burled maple. That's no top btw, then entire body is solid maple.
Roscoe is amazing, their instruments and their customer service.

If I order a Roscoe in the future, it will be cedar body with maple top.

The most fantastic thing about my Roscoe (in my opinion) is the diamondwood fingerboard. It really is nice to play.
I see Fender's QC hasn't improved :)
LOL

No, sometimes their customers are just plain weird.

I don't like a P/J pickup configuration. I don't need the J at the bridge.
"You could just... not use it." - Yes I know, but my OCD said take it off, if you don't use it it doesn't need to be there.

Although lately I've been considering to put this bass back in it's original state. Because stock the Tony Franklin is a more than good enough instrument. (IMO)
