Old Horse Murphy
I've got the chance to buy an EBS Neoline 212 and wonder if anyone hasany experience of these cabs. I've never use EBS cabs before and would appreciate any info on them and how they compare to Epifanis or Aguilars and if they have any unique attributes (mid scoop, coloured sound etc). Kiwi
I have two Neo 212 cabs I bought one and played it for about 6 months...then I bought another. Good for hollow stages. So light they should be chained to the floor.
EBS_freak
The Neo 2x12 are great cabs. Very light as described above... and have a good fat round sound with a stunning amount of top end if that's your thing. If it's not, then the tweeter control is on the back... just roll it off. As a standalone cab, it's great. I'm not generally a fan of the EBS neo sound, I prefer the prolines... but the 2x12 would be my cab of choice out of the whole of the EBS neo range. They are 4 ohm so take that into account if you are thinking of running multiple cabs. Edited November 26, 2009 by EBS_freak
Kiwi
They're also pretty sensitive so can be used with heads ranging from 100w up to 600w+
