I'm sure this has been around before, although not at this price. check out the Marshall stack in his other items. one was made for Pete Townsend, the one with kid in, not the Hendrix one.

Fascinating - these come up very, very rarely.

This one's not quite as "all-original" as he claims. The guitar control plate is new and the knobs on it look like original knobs from a Type 185 bass or maybe a Colorama guitar. I'd be surprised if this instrument originally had non-matching tuners for bass and guitar, though with Hofners anything is possible. And it would be astonishing if a double-neck lasted nearly 50 years without needing a neck re-set yet there's no visible evidence of any repair work ... so this could be a restoration job.

Despite all of which, very rare and desirable to a serious Hofner collector. Which I'm not. Any more. Really.
