Need to downsize

I'm considering downsizing my amp, mostly on the weight side of things.

Whilst I love my Trace, it is very big and heavy for me, takes up alot of room and all that.

So, I come here today to ask..... What should I go for?
I've been looking around, and there is always the Mark Bass stuff, but that generally costs a fair bit as does Eden stuff. And Ashdown have their little giant heads, but I wouldn't know what cab to stick 'em with.

ARGH!!! I need help with this problemo.

Thanks guys

Go for an Eden WT550, its tiny I put mine in a little shoulder bag, try a XLT2x10 that will give you 500watt of sub bass and a xst 2x10 350w of upper sound, thats a 750w amp at 2 ohm and 2 cabs that will give you 850watt if they are both 4ohm. I play this set up with 2 marshal half stacks and a loud drummer and it blows them away. I have also been able to fit the lot in a mini and am glad I got rid of my TE gear. I used to lug a AH600smx head and 2 massive cabs about, now I can be just as loud with great tone as well.

keep your eye open on e bay for second hands or import from usa for best bargains, new in UK its going to cost you 2k, if you look round or import you can half that easy.

If your ever over this way come and have a noodle on my rig

If you want to join the Barefaced trial tour, go here: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?s=&sho...st&p=569574

I guess you'd be at the end of route 1, so when I have some spare cabs I could start a cab at your end of it and then send it on through the Wirral etc.
