Useless Eustace Posted Monday at 12:25 Posted Monday at 12:25 Hello I started messing with Guitars at 16 with ideas of the rock n roll stardom. Unfortunately, while I could give Ozzie a game on the “lifestyle”, practice evaded me & I just never progressed. A few years ago, I bought a Bass. A lovely Bass!!! But again, just never had the application, so it sat in it’s case for years. Well I just bought a Boss Katana Go. What a piece of kit! Being able to sit in the living room with the missus while not disturbing whatever tripe is on the telly, playing along to tunes & YouTube lessons……..WOW! I wish this had been available years ago. Now unfortunately, my nice fairly expensive Wired Earbuds went to the charity shop long ago. Question : Are In-Ear buds suitable for Bass, or will it wreck them? Any recommendations? Thanks 1 Quote

And in answer to your question, in-ear buds are fine for bass. For further information, you can spend a couple of days reading the IEM bible thread or just read the first post in it. 1 Quote

Useless Eustace Posted 2 hours ago Author Posted 2 hours ago The Katana GO is an incredible piece of kit. Great sound & so easy to play music & videos. Wish I’d had this years ago! OK, so I’m pretty decent at learning riff, but don’t know the theory beyond EADG & where the 5th & octave of each note is. I don’t know how to work out what key a song is in or what I’d do if I did. If you were starting out today, how would you learn? Video lessons? Is there an app? Thanks Quote

Then again, I'm quite happy being at that point and I just play for my own enjoyment not needing to play with others, so unfortunately I can't assist with your query, but just letting you know you're not alone in the boat in which you find yourself.
