I have 30+ basses and they all have maple boards. Love maple, somebody buy this before I do.

Luck of the draw. I bought two of these Sonics with the intention of sending back the heavier one, and they both came in a 8lb 11oz (3.94kg) 🤷‍♂️

Nut width is 1.5” & it feels like a Jazz profile to my old hands.

This is so true. My fave P weighs in at 6.8 lbs plays & sounds Fab, so I thought I would obtain a back up ‘just in case’ - Exactly the same model, same year, loom, pickups, strings   - even the colour & yep you’ve guessed correctly - It was a lot heavier + played & sounded nothing like the other one🙈🙈!!
