De Gier BeBop 4-70's - Custom made - 06/2022
£2600

Specs (can also be read on the warranty certificate - the last picture):

Swamp ash body

Maple neck

Maple fingerboard

Pearloid block inlays & pickguard (they are made from the same plastic plate)

Olympic white relic finish with matching headstock

Brass bridge - aged chrome

Hipshot ultralite tuners - aged chrome

Electronics:

- Hepcat '62 pickups in 70's position (the previous owner replaced the Fralin pickups for a vintage/punchy tone. I didn't receive the Fralin pickups)

- Custom made Vanderkley preamp

- Neck pickup volume, push/pull for active/passive. The bass can work without battery (I like that!) due to the passive pickups. Then the pot is a killswitch pot

- Bridge pickup volume

- Tone, push/pull for modern/vintage tone (0.022/0.047 µF capacitors). The tone pot works in both modes - passive and active

- Active bass - boost only

- Active treble - boost only

Scale 34"

Weight - around 3.5 Kg

Original De Gier gigbag

Mint condition

Price 2999,99 Euro 😁, fully insured shipping to EU countries included.

Trade option: De Gier 5-string bass

De Gier are fantastic instruments... There are VERY few basses I regret selling, but my 6 string De Gier Elevation was definitely one of them.

Also, @flaviusm is a top man to deal with!

You're right! I can say that this bass is the best bass I ever touched (and I had a lot of them), speaking about the craftsmanship. It's out of this world. The sound is also extremely good, but this topic is subjective, of course.

Ready for another bus ride, to Germany this time, as there will be one for sale in a few days...
