chaypup Posted Thursday at 19:47 Posted Thursday at 19:47 Selling my 1992 Q5 as it has fallen down the pecking order behind my Clover and Maruszczyk basses. I've played this in a wide variety of bands and it's sounded great in them all, really nice to play - I personally love the narrower string spacing. It's been well played and it shows with a few dings in the hard maple body. Talking of which, for a headless bass with a graphite neck it is surprisingly heavy, will get the scales out and add weight in the next day or two. There's a couple of mods on it, the switch with led were fitted before my ownership to work with a different preamp - I had the original HAZ labs preamp reinstalled when I took ownership. The extra jack socket was probably for a wireless system which would have been tucked away in the extra cavity. The extra cavity is a factory feature - not added later. Original gig bag included. Happy for anyone to come to Cardiff and try it out first. 6 Quote

And will you post ? No neck dings - I'm not sure you can ding graphite? Led doesn't do anything now it was for a preamp that is no longer on the bass. I guess it would be simple to wire up the switch as a kill switch though and have the led connected to that. Yes I'll post at cost. 😊 1 Quote
