Chatgpt has just recommended Lenspeed logistics as a courier to potentially transport my Ricky if I sell it. Having just had DHL destroy a one off custom guitar,  I was looking for a better service than the usual suspects and wondered if anybody had any experience of this company and a rough price for a £3k bass transported within the UK fully insured.

I had a bass collected by Lenspeed when I sold it on here. The purchaser arranged it, and everything went to plan. The chap that collected was really nice and explained they do a lot of moving of expensive guitars for an auction house. If you go on their website I believe it explains prices for fully insured shipping. Probably the only company I would consider for £800 +++ instruments.

I guess that was me 🙂

I've used them 4 times (2x bass + 2x cabs) and every time went perfectly, no hesitation to recommend them.

Not fast but reliable and safe.

Same for me. They moved a bass in a gig bag from down south to up north and it arrived in perfect nick. It was a few days between arranging and pick up and the price is higher than other services but I paid for peace of mind and I got it. The insurance levels are really good too.

Good to know Lenspeed handled everything smoothly — sounds like a reliable option for high-value instruments.
