essexbasscat Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Hi there I'm searching for a good arpeggio book, does anyone have any recommendations ? I fank U Quote
paul_5 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago JS Bach for Bass by Joaquin des Pres is a good one if you want to do more than just running up and down arpeggios, as is Jonas Hellborg’s ‘Chord Bassics’ which is literally pages of chord diagrams - but equally useful to a bassist who wants to improve their playing and theory. essexbasscat Posted 56 minutes ago Author Posted 56 minutes ago Thanks Paul, I remember seeing the JS Bach book before, I'll order a copy of that one, also the Jonas book as well, it costs peanuts so well worth a punt Quote
Burns-bass Posted 38 minutes ago Posted 38 minutes ago There’s a lot of good material out there. Gary Willis’s Fingerboard Harmony is a good one, showing you how to practically apply a lot of this theory. Quote
