Why not offer it for sale?

Do a search on the make and model in the basses, amps, etc,  for sale sections. The sold listings will give you an idea of what to ask to get interest. Then do listings to test the market. It takes a bit of effort but you are listing in the best market place: no fees and no time wasters.

For moderately or very common instruments, check Ebay sold listings. That will give some idea.
