You could Edit the first post, and put the mention 'Resolved' in the title..? The title can only be edited from the very first post, but that option is open to you. The only threads you should close are For Sale threads when the item has sold. . . . but again, leave the ad, photos, correspondence etc in place for the future reference of others.
