dave_bass5 Posted August 14 Posted August 14 I recently got a Blood moon from TC Electronics and love it, but there is an increase in volume when engaged. Can anyone recommend one that has a level control at a below £100 price point? Ive had a TCE Helix before and liked that, can't remember if that would do the trick or not. I just want one that I can set the output level on when it's engaged. Thanks. Quote
Quatschmacher Posted August 14 Posted August 14 Or Source Audio Lunar (or Mercury or Gemini), though volume control is only via the app when creating presets, which is a bit frustrating. 1 Quote

Thanks. Ive had the Source Audio stuff in the past but never really gelled with them. Too many options, and quite expensive. Quote

dave_bass5 Posted August 14 Author Posted August 14 I just remembered i still have a couple of Zoom multi FX. I guess i might give those a go. I can then program in a volume change. Quote
Higgie Posted August 15 Posted August 15 My favourite (although it has no level control) is the Aguilar Grape Phaser. Lovely lush phasing with just two knobs 👌 Quote
pantherairsoft Posted August 15 Posted August 15 Like Higgie mentioned, the Grape is really excellent and super easy to use. I’d also vote for the Mr Black Gilamondo… equally lush and simple. Both, however, will run you more than £100. IMO the best sub £100 phaser is the EBS DPhaser. It’s discontinued now, but tends to fetch £75-90 when they appear on eBay and Reverb. For that money, I personally think it rocks. Quote
dave_bass5 Posted August 15 Author Posted August 15 Thanks for the replies. Budget can be upped if needed, but to be honest i cant imagine anything better than the Blood Moon i already have. It works of battery if needed, has 3 knobs and from what i can remember its deeper and more lush than anything i got out of the TCE Helix or previous Phasers. Im just using it for a gentle bit of movement on a few songs so dont need anything with loads of features. Quote
