Unsolder that red wire for the moment as it's the power (tension) for the LED, so not really mandatory to check the circuit.

Clean these solders as they have a lot of tin. 😉

And try again as the red LED should only turn on in active mode when wired correctly.

If it's working without the LED shining as it's not powered, just take a multimeter and check where the power is located and that'll be it.

Also check if the ring and tip are not reversed on your stereo jack (looks like a cheap model).

This project was a real struggle. It’s been here a couple of months, in bits mostly, and it put up a fight all the way through. I got it for peanuts, probably because the guy knew it was goosed. So, I ripped out all the knackered active electronics and binned them. I spent WAY too long trying to get them to work. Today, I turned it passive…. CTS pots, orange drop cap etc…. and now those EMGs absolutely sing. Piano like tone when played with a pick, lovely neck, very nice to play and well balanced on a strap. Maybe it’ll make an appearance at the next gig? A bit 80s like, but f*** it! 😉

Had a play with a B2 a while back

Well worth replacing the 3 plastic washers on the tuner screws with a F4-10M Thrust Bearing (4 for about £5) for smoother tuning.

Mine is wired Single Vol after a 3 Way Pup Selector.
