I'm currently running one of two pedalboards (at the moment doing the smaller one as it's easier to lug around).

I use the Stomp on either board not two stomps and all ready have some pedals I'm looking to move on. (Bottom row including the B7K etc I think the Proton I have is a V2)

My dilemma is do I sell the bigger board as well as it doesn't get much use and perhaps put it towards something else?

Or sell X amount of the pedals and make the smaller board a analogue board with a nice preamp for example?

There’s a number of caveats, but for a quick response, I’d put the MXR Octave back on the small board and run with that setup. The Stomp is extremely capable of copping all the sounds you might need.

Additionally, I’d be more inclined to dump the DCX (I wasn’t impressed with either side of it) and utilize the Wren & Cuff Fuzz instead.

But yeah, kinda largely depends on your type of music/gigs etc.

As above, would need to know the use case.

But I would get a D’addario xpnd, wire it with the B7K (though I’d personally go for something from Sushibox or a DG Element) at the end, with the board slightly pulled out. This will give you enough space on the main board for Tuner - Comp - MXR BOD and 2 other pedals of your choice (C4/Aftershock 🤷‍♂️).

Get to the gig, slide the board open stick the stomp between the B7k and the other last pedal.

That would give you more or less all the functionality of everything I’m seeing here in a very compact easy to carry setup.
