These were equivalent to the Realistic/Tandy gear of these old days, not very powerful, but totally usable.

Bit better than those brands IIRC. Proamp were a UK company based in Essex, and established 

by an ex Selmer amp designer. They made mainly guitar combos, many of which were valve / transistor

hybrids. The bass stuff is fairly uncommon, but if the guitar combos were anything to go by, they

tended to feature Celestion speakers as standard so that may be the case here.

 

Definitely worth a punt for a tenner…..😆

I bought it, Dear Reader

the seller was very happy to see it go to a good home and I’ve passed on The Good Word Of basschat 

it’s not pretty, but it seems to work (quietly) at zoom output level. When the speakon to 6.35 lead arrives I will try it on full throttle from my TC bh250

It works, not had a chance to turn it up loud. Good enough for my purposes, and I put casters on it
