AinsleyWalker Posted Saturday at 11:52 Posted Saturday at 11:52 This little guy arrived earlier today and I'm already in love! It runs a 6AS6 valve and sounds great as a drive, a boost, etc but I reckon I'll use it more as an always-on pedal when going direct to add a bit of warmth. Ordered from Netherlands on Thurs and on my doorstep Saturday morning, not bad! https://www.singularaudio.nl/shop/tubedrvepedal/ 6 Quote
itu Posted Sunday at 14:43 Posted Sunday at 14:43 Slightly steep price 289 €, but looks good, most likely sounds, too. Quote
Singular Audio Posted Monday at 13:16 Posted Monday at 13:16 (edited) Hey ! Thanks for the mention if anybody has any questions about the pedal I'd be glad to answer them. Basically the pedal has a 6AS6 tube in it, running at 230V plate voltage but derived from a standard 9V power supply with a boost converter. The tube can be switched from triode to pentode operation and has a pretty neat sound ! Basstheworld did a cool short demo with it: Edited Monday at 13:18 by Singular Audio 4 Quote
JoeEvans Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago What difference does the triode/pentode switch make to the sound? Quote

In Pentode mode, it's much easier to get full-on overdriven/distorted sounds at lower volumes/drive levels. So I have been generally keeping in Triode mode for cleaner/ever so slightly broken up sounds. 3 Quote
