Small pops from bass.

Hi.

Just noticed some small pops from my ltd bass, nothing major, but when i'm not playing they appear.

Checked inside and everything seems fine, changed batteries and cleaned all pots and connections, and checked the input jack.

3 band eq all works. What am I missing ?

I plugged the bass into a HX stomp with headphones and with the volume down on the bass, got some horrible buzz. Could that be a clue ?

Are you playing nearby a router or anything WiFi?

Yes chum. In the same room.

Check if simply unplugging the router from the mains and also anything WiFi stop the noise.

 

To put it simple, these are extraordinary mains polluter.

Thanks matey. Tried it out, no luck unfortunately. I'll have another look in the cavity.

Checked again, the ground wire from the bridge isn't connected to anything 😗. Where should it be connected to ? Any help would be a appreciated. Off to youtube lol

Any of the common earths (back of a pot is a safe bet).
