I've said this before but not learned my lesson: I've made an ill-considered bass purchase recently so some of my pedals the block.

 

UK postage via Royal Mail Special Delivery is included in the price. All pedals are in good working order. Pedals are boxed unless otherwise stated. Please let me know if you have any questions about them.

 

I'm not really looking for trades but I've got wanted ads up for a Hamstead Subspace GE and a Cog T-70 v2 and remain interested in those pedals.

 

 

Broughton BBA - £70 each - signal optimiser and buffer for the start of your chain [one sold, one remaining]

 

Broughton Calamity - £160 – a brilliant muff optimised for bass.

 

Hiero BEAD v3 - £205 - a well-regarded take on the Brassmaster (Hiero sold this in a brown paper bag, which is included, rather than a box)

 

Dunwich Volt Thrower - £300 - sought-after RAT-type pedal (no box).

 

Damnation Audio MBD2 - £180 - versatile distortion in a smaller format than the MBD3.

 

COG Custom Solid Snake Blender - £90 – similar to an LS-2 and is configured so that the pedal can either run the A Loop, B Loop or A+B Loops. It also has phase switches.

 

Moose Nomad - £160 - my favourite octave fuzz. I have a slightly new version so I'm selling this unit.

 

Nightowl Industries Parabellum v2 - £250 - a Nightowl Edison tube preamp and distortion circuit.

 

Cog Effects R-1 - £290 - another brilliant octave fuzz (no box, missing one screw).

 

Magic Pedals Cthulhu (black-out) - £190- one-knob Fuzz Face-type fuzz.

 

Wrought Iron Leather & Effects Kaiburr - £275 – a cool fuzz with an excellent LED design reminiscent of Kylo Ren's lightsaber.

 

SOLD BOSS HM-2W - £90 - HM-2 Waza style.

Thank you for the kind words! I'm trying to be a lot more disciplined with pedals so there are some here I feel a bit queasy about selling. All part of the process, I suppose.

@kuetsum I enjoyed the laughing emoji. You know me well enough that pedal discipline has been, shall we say, lax. In 2025 I have actually sold more pedals than I've bought, which is the first time since 2020. It's not really enough to join the gear abstinence thread but it's a start!

I tried very hard to do that on basses.. but had a 2 to 1 deal.. so I count it as a first step.

Haha, thanks! On bass guitar discipline, a little. I'm at one for 2025 and that was a ticking off an item from my bucket list kind of thing. That is until we chat and make it a hat trick of bass purchases from you... curious to hear about your 2 for 1 deal... <danger>

This year was my first time joining the gear abstinence thread. I think I was the first to fail and probably bought the most pedals I’ve ever bought in a single year in the months since then. 😂 Maybe next year.

😂 I'm definitely staying away from that thread then! I suppose each lapse is a recurring advertisement for new gear? We should just continue to swap.

It’s a good strategy.

 

I even considered some kind of BC pedal club/library idea where a bunch of people chip in a set amount each, we buy a pedal, pass it between us until everyone has had a go, sell it, then use the funds to buy another.
