Gallien Krueger Backline 600 amp head * ON HOLD* - *SOLD* £100 East Yorkshire

Up for sale is my GK bass amp head. I’ve owned this a few years as a spare for my bigger GK amp, but it’s rarely been used.

A few marks here and there but overall in good condition. Sounds excellent, active tone controls and plenty of volume!

Not a great deal of difference between this and my old GK 700RB to be honest.

Only thing worth mentioning is the missing cap from the on/off switch. It works fine, but have to use a fingernail or the tip of

your guitar jack plug lead to operate it. I’ve tried to source the part, but GK have recently swapped distributors in the UK

so will take a while to obtain one from the US. Price is reduced accordingly, although in real terms you don’t need to get a

replacement unless it bothers you - amp works 100% as it is.

 

One of these sold recently on eBay for £175, I have it advertised elsewhere at £125 but for the BC Collective I'll let it

go for just £100. Bargain or what?!!

 

Cash on collection greatly preferred  - amp is in the Brough area of East Yorkshire.

Possible help with delivery (depending where and when etc) for my fuel costs.
May also post in the UK, cost and method to be your responsibility please. I can pack it up well.

Cheers Stew, it’s a cracking amp.

I’ve been slowly reducing my kit since leaving my band, but didn’t have any interest on here

for it. Sold my main GK stuff on Marketplace, at what I thought were very reasonable prices. 
Thought I’d try and buck the trend with this one. 🤞

Great deal for somebody, these share the same power amp board and transformer as the US made 400rb ( mk 3&4) and perform pretty much the same.

They've also got a very OTT in a good way distortion circuit that absolutely nails the Larry Graham ' dance to the music' sound!
