funkle
Not sure where this goes without making it spammy....but I thought other Celinder fans might enjoy my latest creation. I decided that not enough people seem to remember Christian's work, so I thought I'd do something about it. Happy to move this elsewhere if it's the wrong forum!! 3
AndyTravis
I thought Mr Celinder was back making basses? I have played 3 and they were ALL superb
funkle
Maybe he is…but if so, he has no website, no FB presence, and no order book that I know of…
three
Lovely video - thanks! I went through an extended period of experimenting with Fender-type basses and owned a few Celinders (some of which Andy above probably played - and with far greater skill than me). All were superb, though some have their idiosyncracies. Beyond tone, one of the remarkable aspects of Christian’s bases is their ergonomics. I don’t know how he did it (does it?) but the basses I owned had a kind of ‘wrap around’ feel and were immensely comfortable to play. I have a feeling that I owned the jazz in the video - I’ll drop a pm
