I had high hopes for it, especially with the envelope mode, but I very quickly established it wasn’t for me. It was a very noisy circuit. I much preferred the Barbanera Black Pearl and the Behringer BM-13. Interesting. It seems as noisy as most analogue phasers, and certainly quieter than my Moog was. Either way, it really works for me. My Mr Black Gilamondo just got replaced without quibble. Overall, I’m finding them all amazing. I wish the delay had a tap tempo, but aside that, I can’t fault them. The chorus has absolutely blow me away. I couldn’t see a chorus dethroning the Horrothia Type One for a while, but this has done so in a heartbeat. Paired with my MP-201, these are all incredible. kuetsum Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Very happy with my pool man bp1c and b-ii Wonder if anyone near Buckinghamshire have the real unit. so we can do a a-b comparison. Quote
bassist_lewis Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago Recently purchased this: Its ostensibly designed for guitar, but with the dry blend it works great on bass. Its a subtle, textural drive, which is exactly what I want. Quote

Both are preamp replica, the builder(a friend from oriental, he is now working on noble which will included the input transformer)..made some changes based on the original design and switch to high end components. On the left is based on inner bamboo b-ii And the right .. yea the bp1c. Quote

Power - high voltage circuit, lower voltage heaters and the 9v for the pedal output. Nobelium replaces it with a transfomerless solution for the high voltage and heaters Quote
