Hot Rod Red, matching headstock, blocks etc. Lovely slab rosewood board. Excellent top end access.

9lb 4oz.

 

BAD BITS.

Original bridge replaced with Gotoh 201B-4

Original tuners replaced with vintage style Wilkinson 189 (NL I think)

I don't have the original parts.

Shielding is notoriously poor on these, this one is no different. I've never bothered to do it, can't hear it too much through an Orange 500BT!

There are 3 or 4 dimples on the bottom, hard to photograph (especially when you're crap like me).

It's in very good condition but not perfect.

As I understand it they were first released in 2006 so this is one of the earlier ones (given the sometimes vague Fender Japan serial number system).

It's 34", normal long scale.

Thanks folks for the trade offers but trade value (if my fancy was tickled) would be higher than the good (imo) cash price.

No longer with Fender gigbag, now with slightly scruffy Armourdillo hardcase.

Sorry, no key. I think it's in the black hole at the end of the universe that is full of case keys & my pens.

It's unlikely a buyer will see one of these in this condition at such a low price.

 

I may just keep it for the time being and put it out at a grand plus some time next year.
