Dave_1
Evening all. Bit of advise needed please. I have a sire V9. I usually run it through an Ashdown 180 head and two 250w cabs. I also have a little orange crush 25w practice amp. See photo The wife thinks it shakes the house down. So I’m tempted to use some headphones. I can run my beats headphones through the orange crush. With audio input. So I can hear the music and bass is there a better set up that doesn’t break the bank ? thanks for any advice Dave
naxos10
You could look at bass guitar headphone amps which plugs into the jack socket of the bass like those from Vox and Blackstar.
velvetkevorkian
What don't you like about the current setup? There are lots of options with varying degrees of cost/complexity, but if the current setup works I'd try living with it for a while. Phil Starr
A lot of us use the Zoom B1-four https://www.gak.co.uk/en/zoom-b1-four-bass-multi-effects-pedal/924373 £80 runs on batteries or USB, sounds great, mini jack input for playing along, cab and amp emulation, tuner, metronome, drum machine etc, etc. and of course it is a multi-fx unit you can use at a gig. I've been using my B1ON the predecessor pretty much every day for years
