New to the forum - and to being a bassist!

Just wanted to say a quick Hi from the new guy!
I've mainly been a guitarist for about 22 years but dabbled in other instruments, including bass, along the way too - mainly to support my production/studio work and songwriting. I've just joined a band as a bassist for the first time (just been on guitar for other bands) so I'm looking to start building my bass rig and getting more into all things bass.

I've had a good few different basses over the years, mainly Fenders (MIJ Jaguar, MIJ Geddy Lee Jazz, MIM P-bass) but I've got a G&L LB-100 Tribute at the minute (which is great apart from the sharp fret ends and shielding - all fixable though!). I'm a big fan of the P-bass sound. However, I'm yet to own a bass amp...

A recent client I was recording with brought in an Aguilar Tone Hammer 500 and Barefaced 2x10 which sounded fantastic - Always loved the Aguilar sound so a TH350/500 is on my next purchase list.

Anyway, I'll stop waffling - thanks for having me here!

Cheers,
Dom
