___---___
I'm selling my Moog MF-101. This is only 4 weeks old, and, thus, comes with EVERYTHING which you would expect to find if you were to buy from new (including a Yamaha power supply). 150 GBP - SOLD. http://i151.photobucket.com/albums/s159/Gu...s/Photo0016.jpg Also for sale is my Boss OC-2. This is the older 'Octaver' model, not the 'Octave' model. CRAZY-good condition considering the age of the pedal. The only 'fault' being the two missing stickers on two of the knobs. 80 GBP - AVAILABLE. thisnameistaken
I would recommend unless anyone here is a serious Boss pedal collector, paying in the region of £45 for a used OC-2 "Octave" would make more sense than paying double the price for that apparently valuable letter "r" on the end. There's no difference internally at all.
___---___
I paid more than that, stupidly or otherwise. I am open to negotiation; no price is fixed as I'm sure you appreciate.

If nobody buys it he may put the price down or he may keep it for himself but don't recommend people not buy things. Not cool.... wizbat
The way I read it he was actually recommending buying it.
katri
Just to point out the 'octave' and the 'octaver' are exactly the same circuit just a slightly different label.

noelk27
The OC2 was introduced in early '82, and produced in Japan until '89. Production under the Octaver name continued for some two years, before being rebranded Octave. From '89 until '03 production continued in Taiwan. The OC2 design remained unaltered until late on in its manufacture in Taiwan. I've observed that people are prepared to pay a little more for original Japanese versions. A collector though would be looking for a pristine, boxed example, with original documentation. As to price/value, well, it's worth what someone is prepared to pay for it.
